TERMS OF SERVICE (ToS)

This Terms of Service (“Agreement”, “Terms”) is a legally binding contract between you (“User”, “You”) and Profylee (“Platform”, “Company”, “We”).
By accessing or using any part of the Profylee platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement and all integrated policies referenced herein.
1. SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE
These Terms apply to all Profylee modules and services, including:
- AI-Powered Digital Identity
- Advanced Search Engine
- Works (freelance marketplace)
- Flow & Pool (recruitment modules)
- Showcase (company pages)
- Publish (articles)
- Wall (posts & announcements)
- Message (messaging system)
- Calendar Integration (Google Calendar API)
- Wallet (credits & payments)
- Analytics & Insight
You may not use the Platform if you disagree with these Terms.
2. ELIGIBILITY, ACCOUNT CREATION & AGE LIMIT
2.1 Minimum Age
You must be 16 years or older to use Profylee.
Users aged 16–17 are subject to enhanced protections under the integrated Minor Protection Policy.
2.2 Account Rules
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Maintain account confidentiality
- Not operate multiple accounts
- Not transfer or sell your account
Profylee may suspend accounts violating these rules.
3. USE OF SERVICES
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful, ethical, and permitted purposes.
All prohibited behaviors are listed in the Acceptable Use Policy, which is fully integrated into these Terms.
4. USER-GENERATED CONTENT (UGC)
You are responsible for all content you upload, including:
- CV, resume, experience, certifications
- Portfolio items
- Posts, comments, articles
- Images, documents, videos
- Job listings and project details
By submitting content, you grant Profylee a non-exclusive, global, revocable, limited license to:
- Display, index, process, store
- Enhance visibility via AI and search
- Technically reproduce the content as needed
Profylee does NOT sell or commercially exploit user content.
The UGC rules are an integrated part of these Terms via the UGC License Agreement.
5. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP)
(Fully integrated into these Terms)
Prohibited actions include:
- Scraping, bots, automated extraction
- Spam, fake profiles, impersonation
- Harassment, threats, hate speech
- IP, trademark, or privacy violations
- Reverse engineering
- Circumventing Wallet or payment systems
The AUP applies as a binding component of these Terms.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (IP)
All Profylee trademarks, designs, code, modules, and brand assets belong to Profylee.
You may not:
- Copy, distribute, reverse engineer platform materials
- Use Profylee’s trademarks without permission
- Build apps/tools mimicking the Platform
The full IP rules are part of the integrated IP & Brand Protection Policy.
7. WORKS MODULE (EMPLOYER–FREELANCER RELATIONSHIP)
- Profylee is not a party to employer–freelancer agreements
- Profylee does not guarantee work quality, delivery, payment, or success
- Profylee provides a neutral environment only
- Disputes follow the integrated Dispute Resolution Policy
Formal contractual relations between Employers and Freelancers are governed by the
Employer–Freelancer Terms of Engagement (separate document — linked).
8. WALLET & PAYMENTS
- Wallet credits cannot be converted to cash
- Credit purchases may be non-refundable
- Payments are processed through third-party providers (PayTR, Paddle)
- Profylee may intervene in disputes but is not a guarantor
9. MESSAGING SYSTEM
- All job-related communication must occur within Message
- Off-platform communication is at user risk
- Abuse, harassment, threats, or manipulation is strictly prohibited
10. CALENDAR INTEGRATION (GOOGLE CALENDAR API)
By connecting your Google Calendar, you authorize Profylee to:
- Read event availability
- Create/modify events when requested
- Suggest scheduling options
- Sync availability
Profylee complies with Google Restricted Scope rules.
11. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that your data is processed according to:

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Disputes must follow:
- User-to-user negotiation
- Profylee moderation via the integrated Dispute Resolution Policy
- Profylee’s final decision for platform-related matters
Applicable law varies by region:
- Türkiye → Turkish Law
- EU → EU consumer & GDPR regulations
- US → Applicable state commercial law
- Rest of world → Mandatory local laws
13. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION & TERMINATION
Profylee may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts for:
- Policy violations
- Fraud, manipulation
- Abusive behavior
- IP violations
- Security threats
- Illegal actions
Sanctions may include:
- Warning
- Feature limitations
- Content removal
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent ban
- Device/IP blocking
14. DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Profylee is not responsible for:
- Work quality, deadlines, or deliverables
- Employer–freelancer payments
- Loss of income or reputation
- User-generated content
- Misuse of data by users
- Off-platform interactions
Profylee is a neutral intermediary, not an employer or agency.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Profylee may modify these Terms at any time.
Material updates will be communicated via email or notifications.
